Immunizers will be responsible for administering the shots in store at a retail pharmacy location, as well as potentially traveling (if applicable) to additional store locations. The on-site schedule varies by location, but RN Supervising Immunizers will be expected to work from 9AM-5:30PM with a 30 minute lunch on their scheduled days. While not on-site at the pharmacy providing immunizations, the consultant is expected to be able to be reached over phone by any of the LPN consultants to provide remote supervision for their clinical work. While the RN will not need to tie themselves to a desk for the duration of their supervising hours, they are expected to keep their phone on and stay within cell service in order to provide guidance to LPNs as necessary.
