Their mission is to advance the state-of-the-art in critical semiconductor domains such as advanced packaging, and in the process to help restore U.S. leadership in semiconductor manufacturing. They are developing cutting-edge semiconductor manufacturing technology that will define future roadmaps of semiconductor devices including logic, memory, 3D packaged devices, including thermal management, etc.This position is responsible for overseeing the safe design and operation of various mechanical systems for our semiconductor wafer fab and test facilities. The Facility operates over 150 different utility systems that include chemicals, gasses, variety of electrical systems, water systems, HVAC, waste, vacuum, and controls. Facilities works closely with the manufacturing team to understand how the utility systems impact the process as well as how to reduce consumption.The successful candidate will be proficient in building mechanical systems design, operations and equipment to include chillers and boilers, cooling towers, pumps, heat exchangers, filtration systems, piping, HVAC and duct systems. The candidate will be able to execute projects in these areas and provide design, construction, and commissioning support as well as troubleshooting as needed for ongoing operations. It is expected that they have an understanding of requirements and limitations in the following key expertise areas.Responsibilities include:?
