Insight Global is seeking a Refrigeration Engineer to support commercial and industrial refrigeration product lines. This role focuses on designing, analyzing, and improving refrigeration systems... used in custom HVAC and refrigeration equipment. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing system layouts and component selections, performing thermal and refrigeration calculations, and supporting troubleshooting efforts for both production and field issues. The engineer will work closely with manufacturing and production teams to support builds, testing, and validation of refrigeration systems, including prototype units. Responsibilities also include supporting engineering change requests, maintaining technical documentation and ERP records, and assisting with root cause analysis for refrigeration-related issues.
