Insight Global is looking for a Senior Payroll Lead to support a large Canadian retailer with an Oracle Cloud implementation. This is an initial 6 month, fully remote contract opportunity. They will... be a an essential resource that will be responsible for the following:? Providing leadership, planning, and direction to the payroll implementation team? Oversee and manager process/reporting improvements? Implement, maintain, and review payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions? Ensure compliance with provincial and federal payroll law taking into consideration how this impacts wages? Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates? Identify and recommend updates to payroll processing software, systems, and procedures?
