The candidate will operate as an interface between 3rd party engineers supporting larger construction projects as well as supporting day-to-day issues as they arise related to the mechanical infrastructure. They will play a leading role in defining process and mechanical system standards and requirements. The candidate will lead the company's environmental and sustainability goals from a facilities infrastructure perspective. This role reports to the Director of Facilities Operations.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesoLead the design and development of mechanical systems and components for various facilities-related projects.oOversee project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure project completed within specifications, on-time, and within budget. oMentor junior engineers and maintenance technicians by providing technical guidance and support. oPrepare and review technical documentation, specifications, reports, and design schematics.oEnsure all projects comply with relevant safety, regulatory, and Global Engineering standards. Conduct feasibility studies, root cause analysis, and technical assessments.oWork closely with multidisciplinary engineers and teams to integrate mechanical systems into larger projects.oIdentify and resolve complex technical issues, conducting diagnostics and performance evaluations of mechanical systems.
