The ideal candidate will have an Associates or Tech School Degree,... More or military experience (electrical, hands-on background). The test specialists will be working alongside the dynamics technicians to install instrumentation equipment and troubleshoot any issues involved with turbine testing. The primary focus of this role is to: run tests at customer sites to ensure efficiency of turbines, coordinate with manufacturing and vendors to ensure instrumentation is assembled correctly during operations, work with other teams to design/apply instrumentation methods for gas turbine hardware, manage validations projects alongside other teams, and review budgets/schedules/drawings. Some other aspects of this role require installing of cables in cable trays, packing/shipping/setting up test equipment, and traveling as needed for about 50% of the time. This is an extremely fast-paced role with opportunity for growth, so the client is seeking someone with an eagerness to learn. This is a contract position with the opportunity to go full-time once the candidate has shown competency in the role. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing test methods and equipment... More to support RF and digital hardware programs. The position involves troubleshooting and supporting RF and digital hardware, improving First Time Through Test Yield (FTTTY), and ensuring on-time hardware deliveries. The individual will analyze test data to identify early yield trends, compile and interpret results, and define required changes to test equipment, test procedures, manufacturing processes, or new test requirements. Working closely with design engineering, manufacturing, and program teams, the role supports hardware improvements, root cause and corrective action development, and yield target maintenance. Additional responsibilities include supporting and training test technicians, participating in program meetings to report yield performance and investigation findings, and interfacing with manufacturing management, production engineers, system engineers, and program management. The successful candidate will possess a working knowledge of RF theory, digital circuit design, strong analytical and communication skills, be self-directed and team-oriented, and have experience using Microsoft Office tools. Compensation: $43/hr. -- 47/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
