An engineering client of Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Accountant to join their team. This individual will be responsible for the following daily or weekly tasks. Reviewing monthly internal... financial statements and other accounting reports. Assists management in year-end financial reports and audits. Works with governmental agencies regarding allowable costs and overhead rates. Analyze project costs and monthly cost allocations. Work on projects that often involved merging information among accounting systems requiring advanced Excel skills. Prepare and review monthly journal entries and accounting classifications. Performs monthly general ledger account reconciliations. Manages fixed assets including additions, disposals, monthly depreciation, and various reports using Sage fixed asset software. Prepare census reports and assist with month end report generation. Also will assist with various tax analysis and filing. Will need to conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.
