My client is looking for a Data Center Engineer to join their Houston, TX team. In this role, you will take care of the data center lab and make sure everything runs smoothly day to day. You will set... up, monitor, and maintain servers, network equipment, and other hardware, and step in to troubleshoot and fix issues when something isn?t working correctly. Part of the job is regularly checking systems to prevent outages and performance problems before they happen. You?ll work closely with engineers and other teams to support testing and critical projects, help keep systems stable and reliable, and provide updates and report issues to the Lab Manager.This role helps keep the data center running smoothly by setting up, maintaining, and fixing servers, network equipment, and facility systems. The individual troubleshoots hardware issues, assists with system and network updates, works with vendors on repairs, and responds to alerts to keep systems up and running.
