The Localization team provides scalable, high-quality localization services for PayPal products in 200 supported markets and 40+ languages. Our mission is to deliver compliant, accurate, and market-relevant localized content to our customers worldwide.
PayPal is a global product, and our Localization team needs to scale to support that. We are currently looking for a Localization Program/Project Manager to help bring the PayPal experience to international markets. You will be responsible for understanding the country-specific product requirements, planning, communication, risk management, and project management for several product lines.
You are a highly motivated individual who works comfortably and autonomously in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. You have a demonstrated ability to manage priorities and projects and the right mix of organizational and communication skills. You are also passionate about creating the best customer experience globally.

As a Localization Program/Project Manager, you will:
Engage and build relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders (Product, Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success, in-country Marketing teams, etc.) to ensure localization requirements are implemented and the localization processes are effective and well understood.
Schedule, manage, coordinate, track, and troubleshoot localization projects and tasks for multiple locales/languages for a variety of deliverables.
Evangelize localization best practices and ensure both external and internal partners compliance.
Qualifications:
2+ years experience as a Localization Project/Program Manager
Ability to identify requirements, prioritize critical deliverables and clearly articulate status updates to different audiences filtering relevant information
Excellent written and spoken English skills as well as fluency in at least one other language
Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience with translation management systems and Jira
Experience as an excellent team player in a multicultural team
Exceptional attention to detail and proven problem-solving skills
