This programmer will be able to work in a remote setting but need to sit 6 hours from Greenville, SC or Crossville, TN because they will be required to go into the office once a month to either office. The ideal candidate for this position will possess a robust aptitude and outstanding communication skills, essential for eliciting requirements from a diverse workforce, including both professional and hourly workers. With a minimum of 3 to 5 years of development experience, applicants should demonstrate a proactive, self-directed work ethic. The role demands a hands-on approach to coding and programming leadership, as project managers are not present. Problem-solving is a significant aspect of the job, requiring innovative solutions and potential changes to address challenges effectively.On a daily basis, the role is split between 40% development work, functioning as a Program Analyst I or II, and the remainder focused on data analysis and interpersonal interactions, particularly within the warehouse environment, which includes a network of half a dozen warehouses.The core responsibilities include analyzing business processes to propose software solutions that align with the companys objectives. This encompasses managing B2B integration portals, websites, and extensive warehouse and transportation networks. Development work primarily involves Java for backend processes and either React for e-commerce or Angular for logistics on the frontend.
