Insight Global is sourcing for a Senior SCADA Engineer for a large energy management and engineering automation company who has background experience with Aveva Systems Platform. This organization is... responsible for automating technology and installing management systems within net new data centers across the globe. The team is roughly 100 individuals, yet you will be working directly with about 25 engineers and 8 Project Managers for the specific project at hand. As the data center industry is growing rapidly across the world, you will be responsible for designing the graphics, implementation, deliverables of the SCADA Systems. In the position, you must be comfortable collaborating with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand system requirements to develop solutions that align with their needs. This individual must have a strong background in designing, programming, installing and testing SCADA system software, and must have a software, electrical or mechanical engineering background. In this position, you must be comfortable with consulting with customers to provide requirement updates on the engineering being conducted. As data centers grow across the world, the team increasing their headcount to ensure they are meeting deliverables for the customers on time. This position primarily remote, working a standard 40 hours/week, preferably working EST or CST hours. There is opportunity to travel to the data center sites for factory tests.
