Our Fortune 500 Client is seeking a Release Train Engineer for a potentially long-term, remote role. We need a senior-level person who can work with multiple products and coordinate their releases... amongst all of those products. The RTE role is the keeper of Agile for a program, so they must have the capability to be involved with pre- and post-PI (program incremental) planning, keep up with the program Kanban board, all the way down to the individual product and team boards in ADO. This person will ideally have the ability to also act as a Product Owner and Business Analyst as well but will mainly be the RTE or Scrum Master running with everything from user stories with acceptance criteria, to story points, to defining stories and prioritizing the backlog, to coordinating releases and leading the PI planning meetings. They must be comfortable working with the client to populate that information in ADO and also have enough experience to coordinate that amongst multiple products (currently they have 5). It is similar to a Project Manager, but this RTE will have specific skills per SAFe & Agile. They facilitate ART (Agile Release Train) events/processes & communicate with stakeholders, escalate impediments, help manage risk & drive improvementWe are a company committed to creating inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. We are an equal opportunity employer that believes everyone matters. Qualified candidates will receive consideration for employment opportunities without regard to race, religion, sex, age, marital status, national origin, sexual orientation, citizenship status, disability, or any other status or characteristic protected by applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances.
