The medical scribe will work closely with their surgeons and assist in various clinical operations. These include documentation of history and physical findings in the electronic medical record systems, requesting orders, accurate documentation of clinical procedures and services, as well as reflecting appropriate diagnoses for each visit. This position requires a high level of detail while working at a fast pace in a high-volume clinic. A strong candidate must be a team player, able to learn quickly, multitask and maintain a professional and positive demeanor with the surgeons, staff, and patients.This job is ideal for those looking to gain clinical experience and apply to professional health programs such as MD/DO and NP/PA. An applicant with prior clinical experience is desirable, as well as a strong foundation in medical terminology and anatomy.
