In this role, the Vice President of Home Loans will lead the strategic direction and daily operations of the home lending division, overseeing approximately $4B in loans and a team of over 75 professionals across sales, underwriting, processing, product management, and systems administration. The VP will be responsible for executing a strategic roadmap that aligns with organizational goals, ensuring the department meets volume, profitability, and service quality targets. This includes managing risk and compliance, maintaining investor approvals, and ensuring regulatory adherence across all lending activities. The VP will represent the home loans business in executive forums such as ALCO and the Credit Risk Committee, and will provide regular performance updates to the CEO. They will also oversee pricing strategies, secondary market loan sales, and quality control processes to ensure operational excellence. Additionally, the VP will foster a high-performance, service-oriented culture, manage vendor relationships, and ensure all internal policies and procedures meet regulatory and investor standards.
