Insight Global is looking for a Level 3 Electrical Engineer for a Utilities client in Tampa, FL. As a Level 3 Electrical Engineer, your duty will be to deliver on capital projects for the Energy... Supply Team. You will work with the Outage and Project Management team to provide guidance to AE firms on critical projects.Responsibilities:Lead Engineer Role: Act as the primary engineer for assigned projects, providing technical support to the management team and project manager. This role covers all project phases, from initial studies and design to installation and commissioning.Compliance Monitoring: Oversee ongoing activities to ensure manufacturers and fabricators adhere to project plans, specifications, and regulatory requirements.Coordination: Work with construction teams, outage coordinators, engineering staff, environmental services, planners, and contractors to meet cost and schedule goals. Provide input on schedule durations and keep schedulers updated.Document Review: Evaluate engineering documents, such as design drawings and reports from external consultants, to ensure they meet specifications and are error-free.Support Construction: Assist construction personnel in developing project scopes, schedules, and cost estimates, including providing necessary design packages.Project Meetings: When acting as the project engineer, organize and lead team meetings to keep projects on track and address issues.
