Tasks will include performing all duties relative to stormwater resource including hydrology/hydraulics, stormwater treatment/hydromodification, and construction phase BMP preparation. You will join a team of professional engineers who provide support for project managers on various projects. Job responsibilities include, but not limited to: *Prepare Drainage Studies including but not limited to hydrologic calculations, hydraulics, inlet sizing, street capacity calculations, detention basin routing, and open channel calculations (HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS). *Prepare Technical Storm Water Reports such as SWQMPs and HMP reports complying with local San Diego co-permitee requirements. *Coordinate report preparation for a variety of projects with the project managers, with a focus on drainage design, storm water management, water quality modeling, hydromodification modeling, low impact development (LID) design, and Green Streets applications as necessary for regulatory compliance. *Coordinate internally with project managers as well externally with proprietary vendors for stormwater facility implementation. *Prepare SWPPP and Erosion Control Plans including processing NOIs and WDID compliance and assists clients with the SMARTS processing and NOT processing at project completion.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
