This position offers the opportunity to grow into a subject matter expert, delivering clear, data-driven solutions that improve road safety and traffic efficiency. ?Day to Day:? Perform traffic engineering studies and analysis to evaluate roadway performance, safety, and traffic flow? Design traffic signals, signing and pavement markings, and maintenance of traffic (MOT) plans for MDOT projects? Use tools like Synchro, SimTraffic, VISSIM, or SIDRA to model traffic conditions and support design decisions? Collaborate with roadway engineers and project managers to integrate traffic solutions into overall project plans?
