Lead the development and implementation of action plans that address safety risks and promote a proactive safety culture. Conduct thorough accident investigations, complete accident files, and perform LYTX reviews to identify root causes and coach drivers on corrective actions. Audit hours of service and driver files (MVRs, Health Cards, DOT medical requirements, etc.) to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for additional training or support. Support new employee orientation and onboarding, ensuring all new drivers receive foundational safety training and mentorship. Partner with recruiting and management to coordinate training schedules and maintain accurate training documentation. Serve as a resource for drivers and site teams, providing day-to-day support, answering safety-related questions, and offering guidance on challenging situations. Promote continuous learning by sharing best practices, facilitating safety meetings, and encouraging open communication about safety concerns.
