Review and verify engineering deliverables including design criteria, drawings, specifications, models, P&IDs, one-lines, equipment datasheets, and vendor documentation for correctness, completeness, and compliance.? Participate in and facilitate Design Assurance activities, including design reviews, design readiness assessments, risk evaluations, and critical engineering milestone verification.? Ensure engineering work follows applicable industry standards, regulatory codes, and OEM requirements.2. Technical Readiness & Contractor Capability Assessment? Perform structured technical readiness assessments for engineering contractors, OEM suppliers, and EPC firms?evaluating engineering competency, quality culture, processes, and historical performance.? Support evaluation of vendor engineering packages, Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) requirements, quality surveillance strategies, and engineering ITPs.? Identify gaps in engineering QA/QC execution and recommend corrective or preventive actions.3. Quality Planning & Risk Management? Develop and maintain project quality plans, engineering quality checklists, inspection and test strategies, and risk-based surveillance plans.? Lead identification of quality risks, mitigation strategies, and lessons learned integration throughout engineering and construction phases.? Coordinate with Supply Chain and Engineering to ensure vendor documentation, QA requirements, and technical deliverables meet contract obligations.4. Audits, Surveillance & Compliance? Plan and conduct engineering quality audits, supplier audits, design verification audits, and process compliance checks.? Oversee design-phase surveillance activities to ensure engineering outputs meet requirements prior to release for procurement or construction.? Track, manage, and close non-conformances, deviations, concessions, and corrective actions related to engineering deliverables.5. Cross-Functional Collaboration? Work closely with project management, engineering leads, construction quality teams, supply chain, and OEMs (e.g., GE Vernova, Solar Turbines).? The client provides value-added common and managed services built on top of the Kubernetes foundation, which hosted applications will require. Position Duties:? Work with Government engineers to develop and maintain the AECC Kubernetes-based architecture.? Develop, deploy, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for the deployment and sustainment of the Kubernetes platform.? As applications are hosted on the solution, utilize IaC for the provisioning of customer namespaces and containerized workloads.? Provide daily administration of the Kubernetes platform, including patching and upgrading of all Kubernetes components (e.g., control plane, worker nodes, CNI plugins, CSI drivers, and CRI runtimes).? Configure and manage Container Network Interface (CNI) plugins (e.g., Calico, Cilium, OpenShift SDN) to ensure secure and efficient networking for Kubernetes workloads.? Deploy and manage Container Storage Interface (CSI) drivers to enable dynamic provisioning of persistent storage for containerized workloads (e.g., OpenShift Data Foundation, Ceph).?
