The Solutions Analyst is responsible for accessing, designing and implementing cloud-based solutions to meet specific business needs, including selecting appropriate services, optimizing architecture, ensuring security and compliance, and providing ongoing support to maximize the benefits of cloud technology; essentially bridging the gap between business requirements and technical capabilities.The Solutions Analyst will act as the primary point of contact for technology solutions, practice specific software applications and systems used by internal experts to serve their IT clients. This position will act as a liaison between internal IT staff, business partners, and corporate departments to drive the deployment and management of technology solutions used by our Experts.Primary Duties? Work with customers to analyze and understand business and technical needs and maintain excellent customer relationships.? Manage multiple projects focusing on ensuring Expert Solution Delivery.? General Project Roles and Responsibilities: ? Assess business requirements with the customer? Design unique/non-standard IT solutions? Provide cost and performance estimates? Collaborate with internal IT staff, external support, and Vendors? Document architecture and train others for handing off maintenance and support? Manage end-to-end projects for onboarding SaaS solutions, including requirements gathering, vendor selection, solution design, implementation, integration, user training, and ongoing support.? Maintain understanding of key workflows, cost allocation, licensing, and support related to cloud services.? Monitor and analyze the performance of cloud services to ensure optimal recommendations and operations.? Provide reports and analysis of cloud utilization, optimization, and value added.? Troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and remediation of issues related to cloud architecture, security, and applications.? Assist in data engineering tasks, system administration, database administration, and data transmissions.? Automate and operationalize routine tasks.? Coordinate user acceptance testing of new or changing solutions.? Assist with development of cloud strategy and governance.? Maintain knowledge and documentation on the latest trends and technologies and conduct research and development of patterns and best practices.? General system maintenance and downtime for relevant data systems, providing Teir III support operations.? Willingness to adapt and learn new skills with rapidly realigning needs of our client's technologies.Pay Rate: 55-60/hr. More lifecycle refresh, where physical ESX server clusters will be replaced by the new HPE Green Lake infrastructure. Job responsibilities include: - Asset discovery of all data centers that are in scope to receive a cluster (account for servers to be replaced, their rack locations, etc).- Manage on-site resources in conducting rack surveys, and then analyze the surveys to determine the racks capability to house the new clusters. This includes confirmation of power capacity and layout, existing rack space, and network port capacity. Candidate should have experience in data center environments and understand data center standards in terms of rack layouts, power distribution, and network cabling.- Verify network configurations are correct before doing the installation. Network configurations will be completed by a network team and provided to the candidate for review. Configurations include trunk and VLAN assignments and jumbo frames.- Verify the server equipment has been properly installed, including rack RU location, cabling, labeling, and overall cleanliness.- Verify all servers are reachable following installation.- Fully deploy the HPE Green Lake Infrastructure, including its underlying SAN storage.
