The ideal candidate will perform regular testing, observation, and inspection of construction projects.?They will communicate about the project site and project requirements with the PM, other engineering technicians, and the client. Each day, they will go to the job site, perform necessary responsibilities for the client; check-in with the PM with testing results; and contact dispatcher for another assignment or go home if work is complete. They will work on a single project site or go from project to project all within 20-35 min of the Augusta area (given company vehicle for commute/paid for time in car). They will monitor fill placements, soil placements, work with concrete cylinders, and test concrete as it?s placed. They will also transport material samples for further testing and analysis, and complete appropriate laboratory data entry. At the end of each day, they will complete a digital report of their findings.
