DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIESGear Center (Primary Focus)? Program, set up, and operate CNC mills, lathes, and gear-manufacturing equipment (hobbing, honing, grinding)? Interpret engineering drawings,... blueprints, GD&T, and machining parameters? Perform machine setup verification and first-piece validation? Troubleshoot machining issues, adjust programs, and maintain tight tolerance and surface finish requirements? Install and adjust tooling, fixtures, chucks, and workholding? Perform preventive maintenance and escalate mechanical/electrical issues as needed? Manage in-process material flow and tooling inventory to support prototype schedules? Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering on tooling, fixturing, and process improvementsInspection / Metrology (Secondary)? Program and operate gear inspection systems (Gleason, Klingelnberg)? Support root-cause analysis and data-driven corrective actionsE-Motor Lab Support ? Support prototype and pre-production electric motor builds? Assist with defect analysis, repair, and rework? Operate lab equipment including presses, welders, balancers, ovens, induction heaters, hi-pot/surge testers? Perform electrical and mechanical testing per authorized procedures?
