We are seeking an experienced .NET Developer to lead and execute a major .NET application upgrade, leveraging AI-powered coding agents to accelerate development, improve code quality, and modernize... legacy systems. This role requires strong hands-on development skills, experience working with offshore teams, and the ability to integrate AI-assisted development practices into daily workflows.The ideal candidate is technically strong, collaborative, and comfortable acting as a bridge between business stakeholders, AI tooling, and globally distributed engineering teams.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and contribute to the upgrade and modernization of existing .NET applications (e.g., legacy .NET Framework to modern .NET).Leverage AI agents and developer copilots to:Generate, refactor, and optimize .NET codeAccelerate migration and remediation effortsImprove test coverage and documentationReview, validate, and harden AI-generated code to ensure it meets security, performance, and quality standards.Collaborate closely with an offshore development team, including:Providing technical direction and design guidancePerforming code reviews and mentoring developersEnsuring alignment on standards, timelines, and deliverablesDesign and implement scalable, maintainable architectures using modern .NET patterns.Work with product owners, architects, and QA to translate business requirements into technical solutions.Identify opportunities to improve development efficiency through automation, AI tools, and DevOps practices.Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and technical decision-making.Compensation: $60/hr to $65/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
