This position supports rapidly changing technical storage infrastructures, which provide a solid foundation for production applications. The position aids in the development of enterprise storage architectures and researches trends and technologies in the storage industry. These architectures should culminate in the development in a full information lifecycle management approach for that allows the company to leverage all their storage assets in such a way that overall value is maximized while operational costs are minimized. This position performs daily operational tasks (i.e., SAN zoning, storage allocation, equipment installation, etc.) and data integrity tasks (i.e., monitoring data replication, ensuring business continuance volumes are in tact, backing up volumes, etc.).
