Insight Global?s Evergreen Division is looking for a Land Survey Technician to join our remote sensing team. You will support the 10K Undergrounding program, as well as the South Valley Transmission... team. You will be mainly responsible for Field Land Survey work from Fresno to SLO. The role will start initially as Field Survey work including: Boundary Surveys, Topo Surveys, Field Staking, setting flight plans and general field work. You will also be responsible for processing survey data from Lidar point clouds, creating topographic maps, writing legal descriptions, and general land survey work. Other responsibilities include:?Performing field work, including installing and maintaining survey markers and using GPS devices?Collaborating with engineers, architects, and contractors on construction and development projects?Providing expert testimony and evidence in legal matters related to land ownership disputes?Supervising and providing guidance to field staff?Purchasing and maintaining equipment?Reporting on survey results and presenting findings to clients?Collaborating with engineers and architects on several projectsWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
