This individual will lead the implementation of the data governance program, interface with business units, data stewards, and domain owners to define strategy, draft policies, and embed governance practices. The position requires a strategic thinker with hands-on execution capabilities and a strong understanding of data governance frameworks, compliance standards, and stakeholder engagement.? Own and drive the creation and rollout of enterprise-wide data governance policies, standards, and procedures? Manage data lineage, data lifecycle, ETL processes, and metadata practices to improve data visibility, traceability, and transparency? Ensure data practices align with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements (GDPR, CCPA), industry standards (FedRAMP, NIST, ISO 27001), and zero-trust principles? Partner closely with cross-functional teams to identify data issues, gaps, and opportunities for improvement? Define and monitor data quality metrics and KPIs to continuously assess and improve data quality? Evaluate, implement, and support data governance tools and technologies used across the organization? Stay current on emerging data governance trends, tools, and best practices? Perform regular data audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance or governance risks? Develop and deliver training to educate teams on data governance standards and best practices?
