Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support a large client of ours in the manufacturing automation industry. The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the 3 phase installation and set up of custom-built automated machinery at their customer's site. This role is 100% travel and customer facing, with needed areas of expertise in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, and programming.

Required Skills & Experience
- 30-45 minutes near an airport and valid US passport
- 2-3 years of mechanical experience
○ Ability to read schematics and use of hand tools (will need to disassemble and reassemble)
- 3-5 years of experience in electrical
○ Ability to use multimeter (need to be able to troubleshoot connectivity)
○ Relay switches, HMIs, PLCs, Contactors, relays, motors, (may need to do controls upgrade)
- 1-2 years of programming experience - (debugging code - won't have to write from scratch)
○ Rockwell Studio 5000 (an Allen Bradley company)
Factory Talk Studio (Schnider, Beckhoff, KBBA may be applicable too)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Manufacturing or automation background
Degree in Mechatronics, Controls, or Electric Trade
