The ideal candidate has a bubbly personality, with ability to interact professionally with employees, visitors and delivery personnel from diverse backgrounds. You should also be able to deal with emergencies in a timely and effective manner, while streamlining office operations. This role will be onsite Monday- Friday from 8:30-5:00PM EST with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. Other duties include: Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures) Coordinate general office events (e.g., happy hours, birthday lunches, etc.) Occasionally go to the post office to buy stamps or drop off documents. Order business cards and apparel for new employees. Ensure kitchen is fully stocked.
