This role will require regular travel during the first ~2 months on the job for training to the company's existing domestic manufacturing facilities, but travel will reduce to about 25% post training. This is a permanent, full-time role and we can offer a salary of $67,400 to $96,000 for the role. Responsibilities include owning the event and investigation program, collaborating with maintenance and operations teams to ensure compliance and hazard identification, monitoring workplace conditions, and implementing preventive measures. The engineer will also oversee audits and inspections, lead risk assessments such as HAZOP and LOPA, deliver process safety training, and support external certifications (e.g., RCMS, OSHA VPP, ISO 9001).
