This frees up significant time for the team and this role to primarily focus on critical thinking, research, and strategic meetings to understand transactions and advise on the firm\u0027s accounting policy and strategy accordingly. The ideal candidate will be comfortable embracing new technologies to drive efficiencies across the firm. Key Responsibilities? Technical Accounting Policy Development \u0026 Oversight- Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of global accounting policies in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS.- Monitor changes in accounting standards and assess their impact on the firm?s financial initiatives.- Leverage company AI tools for documentation and memo preparation.? Strategic Advisory- Partner with senior finance leaders and business units to evaluate the accounting implications of new transactions and strategic initiatives.- Provide technical accounting guidance on complex areas such as consolidation, revenue recognition, fair value measurement, and financial instruments.? Governance and Compliance- Serve as a key liaison between external auditors to ensure compliance and alignment on complex accounting policies and challenges. Key Deliverables for Success?
