Since the environment is going to be in Google Cloud, an understanding of public cloud environments is important as you will be responding to incident escalations, integrating IR platforms/playbooks/programs, and managing network architectures within the cloud. You will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing network traffic, system logs, and other data sources to identify potential security incidents. This can include investigating alerts and suspicious activity to determine if an incident has occurred and or containing the affected systems and networks to prevent the incident from spreading.
