An employer is looking for a TSSCI Public Affairs Specialist to sit at Fort Meade. This individual will support a high-intensity cyber operations environment, acting as a key public affairs resource... to ensure accurate and strategic communication across the command. On a daily basis, they will monitor ongoing cyber operations, current events, and media coverage to assess potential public affairs impacts and proactively develop messaging, including Public Affairs Guidance (PAG), talking points, and leadership updates. They will work closely with the Communications Director, Public Affairs Officer, and operational teams to anticipate how cyber activities may be perceived externally and ensure messaging aligns with mission objectives. The role also involves identifying and countering misinformation or disinformation, supporting strategic engagement planning, maintaining documentation and knowledge management systems, and assisting with coordination of events, working groups, and stakeholder communications. Compensation:$55/hr to $60/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
