Perform electrical control system analysis including power, thermal, fault, and safety-related evaluations? Own electrical and embedded aspects of new product introduction (NPI) activities including design reviews, prototyping, testing, and launch readiness? Optimize existing products using customer feedback, field data, warranty trends, and manufacturing input? Drive design improvements to enhance reliability, safety, usability, and customer experience? Identify and implement cost-reduction opportunities through architecture optimization, component selection, and design simplification to maximize product margins? Collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, quality, firmware, and suppliers to improve manufacturability and reduce lifecycle cost? Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for manufacturing, assembly, software, and field issues? Ensure compliance with applicable North American electrical, safety, and lifting codes and regulations?
