Insight Global is looking for a Mechanical Engineer, PE to join a growing team in Phoenix, AZ. A Mechanical Engineer, PE in the commercial MEP space is responsible for leading HVAC and mechanical... system design from early planning through construction, ensuring systems are code-compliant, buildable, and aligned with project goals. Day to day, the role involves developing design concepts, performing engineering calculations, and translating requirements into coordinated construction documents for commercial buildings. The engineer works closely with project managers, designers, and other disciplines to resolve technical challenges and maintain consistency across architectural and engineering systems. Regular interaction with clients, contractors, and permitting authorities is required to support design decisions, respond to field conditions, and keep projects moving forward. The position also includes mentoring junior staff, providing technical oversight, and upholding quality standards throughout multiple active projects.
