Role PurposeSupport the development of an automated steel fabrication factory by converting an existing reactor building design into modular, manufacturable components and defining the factory... processes required to fabricate and assemble them. The focus is manufacturability, modularization, and factory process design.Key Responsibilities?Break down a large, monolithic CAD model into modular components suitable for factory fabrication ?Translate designs between AutoCAD (civil/architectural) and SolidWorks (manufacturing/engineering) ?Define fabrication and assembly processes for large steel structures ?Support factory layout decisions, including material flow, module handling and flipping, fixturing strategies, and tolerance/distortion management ?Collaborate with controls, automation, and manufacturing teams to ensure designs are executable in a factory environmentWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
