Job Description

We are hiring a CNC Machinist to support the production of high-precision components in a manufacturing environment. This role will focus on operating and maintaining CNC milling machines, ensuring parts are produced accurately and meet strict quality standards.
The CNC Machinist will work closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to troubleshoot issues, improve machining processes, and support efficient, high-quality output.

Required Skills & Experience

High school diploma or GED
3+ years of experience operating CNC machines in a precision manufacturing environment
Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
Strong understanding of machining processes and quality standards
Ability to use precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
Proven troubleshooting skills related to machine operation and production issues
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience working with large bed or multi-axis CNC milling machines
Background in aerospace, automotive, defense, or other high-precision manufacturing industries
Familiarity with CNC control systems such as Fanuc, Siemens, or Haas
Experience with CAM software or editing CNC programs (G-code)
Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
Experience working with advanced materials such as metals or composites
Completion of a machining program, trade school, or apprenticeship
Industry certifications (NIMS, HAAS, or similar)
