Responsibilities include: - Firmware & Software Development. Design, develop, and test firmware and embedded C software for microcontrollers (e.g., RP2040 architectures) and single-board computers. Implement communication protocols (e.g., I2C, SPI, UART, Ethernet) to reliably interface with sensors and custom hardware. - Autonomy & Robotics Integration. Develop and integrate software for autonomy, control algorithms, and edge computing on robotics platforms. Utilize frameworks like ROS (Robot Operating System) to integrate custom code with COTS/GOTS hardware to support fast-paced project requirements. - System Integration & Bench Testing. The contractor shall communicate urgent matters involving production issues to the government in a timely manner via phone, email, or other normal communication methods. - Supply Chain. The contractor shall purchase material for the government as needed to support prototype and low-rate production for assigned projects.
