This person must have the Active Directory architectural knowledgeand be able to blue print standing up new environments while also being able to actually do the engineering work themselves. They need to be comfortable spending about 50% of their time on on-prem AD tasks. On a daily basis, they will handle all AD related requests such as managing shared drive permissions, identifying owners of AD groups and defining and managing group policies (GPOs). They will support day-to-day AD tasks such as user object management, replications, and shared drive access. They need to be the engineer actually doing all of the tasks, escalations and building out a new environment, not just part of a team doing the work. This is a very large environment with 10-11 domains on the OT side alone. The AD Advisor will inherit existing AD environments being migrated to AzureAD and also build out the new environments from the ground up on on-prem AD for the company's new low carbon environment. They will rely on this person to supplement areas where the current team members are lacking from an on-prem AD perspective. More team, you will work on projects related to municipal water and wastewater treatment plants, including but not limited to major treatment plant expansions, regional water quality studies, and critical water reuse projects that will create sustainable and resilient water supplies for the world. This person will be responsible for drafting and design using Civil 3D for different elements of these projects. The Civil discipline specifically is in charge of design for all piping and industrial items outside of the water/wastewater facility, with the majority of that being related to underground piping and infrastructure. Knowledge of grading, pump stations, pressure networks, gravity networks, force mains, etc. is strongly preferred. The majority of this person's time will be spent designing, and coordinating with project leads and engineers. Lastly, this person will need a strong understanding of BIM as it relates to civil design. This role will be a 6-month contract-to-hire model, with the primary goal being a permanent conversion. This role can pay anywhere between $35-$53/hr, with permanent conversion salary coming in at or above that rate.
