JOB DESCRIPTIONA ridesharing client of Insight Global is looking to hire a Rider Assistants their schools in Colorado. Our client is a ridesharing company that provides service to children in... getting to and from school. This company has always been dedicated to making a difference in the lives of children and families. They understand that transportation can be the difference between success and struggle, which is why they're on a mission to use technology, operational expertise, and new thinking to help kids reach their full potential by providing a safe, dependable way to get them where they need to be. Every day, school districts arrange transportation for hundreds of thousands of students who require highly specialized vehicles, equipment, or supports. This includes students needing an additional adult in the vehicle. The Rider Assistant WILL NOT be driving the vehicles, rather they will be sitting in the passenger seat while someone else drives. Their sole responsibility is to monitor the ride and make sure it's completed safely. Additionally, daily responsibilities include scheduling, reporting, and analysis! Here is a breakdown of responsibilities and how time during your shift is spent: -45% of the shift the Rider Assistant will be in a vehicle. -40% of the shift the Rider Assistant will be waiting at the school for the rider to get out of school/waiting at their home to be picked up by the driver. -15% of the shift the Rider Assistant will be providing written reports on the rides, giving feedback, and scheduling future routes with our team. There are morning and afternoon shifts, and candidates will be guaranteed a minimum of 10 hours of work per week if they do AM and PM rides Monday-Friday.
