Insight Global is seeking a Mechanical FA Engineer to work onsite our clients facility in Bangalore, India. This person will be working in the reliability lab, performing a variety of tests on PC... More systems and components to determine durability and points of failure in a variety of environments. Mechanical related tests/analysis include pressure testing, drop testing, strain gauge, accelerometer testing, thermal testing, among others. They will be responsible for evaluating mechanical parts, components fitting into PC/computer/electronic equipment. Assisting in the design of tools and fixtures, if necessary, to the enable the handling and assemble/disassembly of PC components and sub-assemblies. Coordinate with cross regional teams to identify and record the difficulties faced. Troubleshoot a variety of mechanical problems of moderate to complex difficultly under general supervision. Utilize and incorporate general mechanical design principles, including design for manufacturing (DFM) and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T). Responsible for evaluation mechanical parts, components fitting into PC/computer/electronic equipment.
