In this position you\u0027ll be responsible for working with the Entitlements department. The entitlements team ensures that users are able to access the services they have purchased through other vendors on their platform. This team is made up of 17 people in total with skillsets as developers, testers, scrum masters, site reliability engineers, and a manager. As a Java Developer on this team you will work in most phases of any project, perform maintenance, and provide technical assistance/advice on existing software solutions. Projects are usually of moderate complexity, and require solid knowledge of development technologies and tools. This position is both onsite and remote specifically being onsite 3 days a week and work from home the other 2 days. This position is open to C2C or W2. The following is an example of some of the responsibilities you will have as a Java Developer on this team. You will plan, design, and develop in Java. You will also be maintaining and improving operational reliability/scalability of existing services. You will need to understand the application and platform development goals to build containerized microservices managed in Kubernetes open-source platform. You will utilize object-oriented programming language and design patterns to provide technical solutions and perform hands-on development. Developing microservices that support performance, reliability, availability and scalability. Participate in code review sessions to validate adherence with development standards. Coordinate with technical teams to analyze and resolve software related problems causing operational issues.This position is slated as a 1 year contract with a high likelihood of that being extended if you perform in accordance with the company standards. This will be a hybrid role where you are expected to work in the office 3 days a week so if you do not currently live in the Denver, CO area you must be willing to relocate for the duration of the contract.
