More ownership of meaningful municipal infrastructure projects while working closely with firm leadership in a highly collaborative, hands-on environment.The ideal candidate is a self-motivated engineer who enjoys wearing multiple hats - from technical design to project management and client collaboration - and is interested in growing into a long-term leadership and ownership-track role within the firm.Projects primarily focus on water, wastewater, storm drainage, and municipal infrastructure, including planning, funding support, and design through construction.Key Responsibilities Include:- Perform detailed site and municipal infrastructure design, including grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater systems using AutoCAD Civil 3D- Prepare construction documents such as plans, specifications, and cost estimates in compliance with applicable codes and standards- Conduct engineering calculations, feasibility analyses, and site evaluations to support sound design decisions- Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations- Prepare and review construction estimates, budgets, and contracts with a high level of accuracy- Conduct site visits and oversee construction progress, ensuring safety and quality compliance- Manage project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, contracts, and progress reports- Collaborate directly with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders to ensure project success- Apply best practices in project management, risk mitigation, and quality assuranceCompensation Range: $70-100K/annually (+ bonuses and highly competitive employee benefits).
