Job Description

Our client is a leading provider of innovative software solutions for the agriculture, forestry, and natural resource industries and their field workers. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sales Representative to join their team at their home office in Sheridan, WY.



We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Sales Associate to join our sales team. The Sales Associate will play a key role in driving revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong customer relationships, and consistently achieving sales targets.





Key Responsibilities:



1. Prospecting and Lead Generation:



o Identify potential customers and businesses that could benefit from our products/services.



o Conduct market research to uncover new leads and opportunities.



o Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads.



2. Sales and Customer Engagement:



o Reach out to prospects through phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings.



o Present and demonstrate our products/services to potential customers.



o Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions.



o Negotiate and close sales deals.



3. Relationship Building:



o Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with customers.



o Provide excellent customer support and address inquiries or concerns promptly.



o Regularly follow up with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities.



4. Sales Reporting and Documentation:



o Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and customer interactions.



o Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management.



o Collaborate with the team to share insights and best practices.





Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes and practices within an Agile team.

Required Skills & Experience

- 3+ years of corporate sales experience

- Experience working with a CRM

- Strong relationship building skills

- Comfortable with 10-20% travel all paid for either company car or stipend depending on type of travel

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Experience within natural resources or agriculture (pesticide or equipment sales)
