Job Description

We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join a dynamic manufacturing engineering team. You will serve as a critical internal technical resource responsible for the accuracy, quality, and electrical design intent of project documentation across multiple concurrent efforts. This role is focused on detailed schematic and print review, ownership of NEC compliance, and timely release of electrical drawings and EBOMs, ensuring initial drawing packages are complete, clear, and ready for customer submittal. You will manage a heavy active project workload with minimal task switching, participate in technical handoffs from external engineering leads, and apply strong electrical theory to maintain design integrity throughout development. In close partnership with Production, you will resolve design related questions during build and test phases, support EBOM and print release activities, and assist with the assessment and selection of long lead materials and major electrical equipment to maintain schedule readiness. Success in this role requires deep focus in a detail oriented environment, experience reading schematics and managing EBOMs, proficiency with tools such as Bluebeam, ERP systems (e.g., Epicor), and Microsoft Office, and a background gained through an engineering degree or equivalent field experience (such as journeyman training) with 5+ years of relevant electrical design experience. PayRate $35-40/hr.
