Job Description
The Inside Sales Account Manager is a hunter-focused role responsible for driving new business within composite cable, wire, and interconnect solutions. This individual will proactively identify and secure new OEM and industrial accounts while leveraging technical knowledge of copper and aluminum to support customer needs and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
New Business Development
• Target and develop new OEM and industrial customers through outbound prospecting and market research
• Build and manage a strong pipeline focused on new account acquisition
• Utilize tools like ZoomInfo to identify and engage decision-makers
• Uncover customer requirements and position solutions to win new business
Account & Sales Management
• Serve as the primary contact for new and developing accounts
• Drive opportunity progression from initial contact through close and handoff
• Maintain consistent communication on pricing, timelines, and capabilities
• Support account growth through upselling and follow-on opportunities
Technical & Commercial Execution
• Leverage knowledge of copper, aluminum, wire, and cable applications
• Coordinate with internal teams on quoting, pricing, and delivery timelines
• Track opportunities, pipeline activity, and revenue forecasts in CRM/ERP systems

Required Skills & Experience
Qualifications
• 5+ years of inside sales or business development in wire, cable, metals, or industrial manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of copper and aluminum applications in cable/wire
• Proven success in hunter-style sales and new business acquisition
• Ability to manage multiple opportunities and drive consistent follow-up
• Proficiency in Excel, CRM, and ERP systems
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Preferred Experience
• Background in wire and cable, data center infrastructure, or custom manufacturing
• Experience supporting OEM sales cycles and large deals ($100K+)
• Familiarity with vendors such as Southwire, Prysmian, or similar
