Job Description

Our client is seeking a motivated Entry-Level Settlements Analyst to launch their career in the banking industry by joining a Settlements team of 11 based in Milwaukee WI. Supporting DTC security settlements, the team ensures timely processing of equity and bond transactions while reconciling internal DDA accounts and posting credits and debits for internal balancing daily. Responsibilities include resolving exceptions and communicating trade statuses across internal teams. The ideal candidate is proficient in Excel—comfortable with macros, formulas, and building charts or tables—and demonstrates strong written communication skills, attention to detail, and a solid work ethic. This role is paying between $18-$19/hr.

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelor's Degree in related fields (Business or Finance) Or Two Years of equivalent experience in Finance
- Excel experience (filtering and sorting features and functions)
-Great communication, energy, and work ethic!

- Basic understanding of regulatory and accounting principles which directly affect Wealth Management & Investment Services business lines and clients
- Ability to quickly learn custody operational functions, systems, procedures, various products and/or services, for assigned area(s)
- Ability to multitask and meet established deadlines in a dynamic work environment
- Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills
- Effective customer relations, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications
