Job Description
This position is responsible for creating the general target and workload forecast (fish chart) for the yard. Develop manning budget estimates which include internal, contractors and outsourcing, based upon the yard capacity, subdivided by workshop/SOC/trade. Evaluates the monthly AOP booklet to verify its alignment with the manning and budget plan. Provides monthly/quarterly reports evaluating productivity, manning and hours to SLT. Works closely with HR, to define the annual hiring goals to support production. Reports the relevant progress, of ships in production in accordance with the EVMS rules. The hourly rate for this role ranges from $32-38hr.

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 4 years’ experience with successfully managing a critical path IMS which has EVM requirements. This requirement can also be met with an Associate’s degree and at least 6 years of related experience or a High School diploma and at least 8 years of related experience.
• Experience in a complex multi-product, build to order production environment creating project and master schedules and resource plans preferred.
• Substantial working knowledge of ERP systems and network scheduling software (Primavera).
• Substantial working knowledge of EVM.
• Substantial working knowledge shipbuilding workflow, material flow and production processes.
• Effective verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness and ability to working both an office and industrial environment.
• Prefer knowledge of Navy and Coast Guard scheduling and performance reporting requirements.
