Job Description

Insight Global is currently searching for Scoping Cell Engineer 2 for a large shipbuilding client supporting the U.S Navy. This Engineer 2 will be handling change process provided to the navy of initial design, scoping the impacts on hours and materials for changes in engineering processes, updating equipment lists, daily technical modification orders to electrical, structural, mechanical, or outfitting changes to the design of vessels- how will these changes effect the department of their specialty.
The ideal candidate will have a background in the maritime shipbuilding industry.
The hourly rate for this role is between $32-38hr.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong AutoCad experience
4+ years of shipbuilding experience - Structural, electrical, piping, HVAC, outfitting etc.
Bachelors degree in engineering- preferably in their specific discipline
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Ship or Maritime experience
MUST be on-site
