Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Associate Accountant to join our client’s team in Madison, Wisconsin. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to build a strong foundation in accounting. The ideal candidate will assist with daily financial operations, including bank reconciliations, deposits, and journal entries.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform daily bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
• Prepare and process bank deposits in a timely and secure manner
• Record daily journal entries for various transactions, ensuring proper documentation and coding
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Maintain organized financial records and support audits as needed
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and improve processes
• Support the accounting team with ad hoc tasks and reporting
