Insight Global is looking for a Lead Solutions Developer for one of our largest Transport, Freight Shipping and Logistics Companies. This person will be joining an expanding satellite technical organization in Mexico City, MX. They will be applying technical system solutions to business problems through the design and programming of automated systems. This position analyzes, designs, develops, and maintains custom program code and applications to support business processes and functions. Working on elements of large, complex applications, this individual will support development work that ranges in size of scope and complexity. This role will commonly utilized as a Subject Matter Expert in one or more specialties. They will be expected to work independently on some complex projects, with strategic collaboration of both the architectural design and development teams.

-Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
-Minimum 7 years of relevant IT experience
-Excellent Java-based software development experience
-Strong full stack development background
-Ability to propose and suggest design changes by thinking outside of the box on solution plans
-Expert level knowledge of system design, development patterns, quality assurance, and common integration methodologies
-Strong understanding of architectural standards
-Ability to ensure industry standards are followed throughout various stages of the software development lifecycle and software quality assurance practices
-Strong communicator in both English and Spanish
-Ability to coach and mentor software engineering resources through a hands-on approach
